About me
A developer focused on practical solutions, from the code itself to the infrastructure that keeps it running.
My name is Carlos Motta. I'm building my career around software development, DevOps, infrastructure, and practical technology solutions for businesses.
I believe writing code is only part of the job. What actually matters is understanding the full lifecycle of a digital product (plan, build, deploy, secure, monitor, and maintain), and that's what shapes how I work.
Before moving into development, I managed complex audiovisual projects, coordinating teams and solving technical problems in real time, under demanding conditions. That's not professional software development experience, but it gave me a solid foundation in operational thinking, accountability, and delivering solutions in real, unpredictable environments.
I have a particular interest in infrastructure, automation, and production systems, the part of the work that continues after the code is already written. My long-term goal is to keep growing as an engineer, work with international clients and companies, and build software products alongside a sustainable technology business.
Previous background: audiovisual production
I managed complex audiovisual projects, coordinating technical and creative teams and solving problems under demanding deadlines and live conditions. That experience doesn't replace years of professional development work, but it's a real foundation in operational accountability, teamwork, and solving technical problems when things simply have to work.
